Magglingen/Macolin, 16-18 November 2025
Every second year, the FSRMM organizes a meeting for scientists and clinicians active in neuromuscular research, to facilitate contacts, exchange and information.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Swiss Meeting on Muscle Research is reserved to scientists and clinicians working in Switzerland on neuromuscular diseases.
Registration is free.
The meeting starts on Sunday at 5 pm and ends on Tuesday, at about 4 pm.
SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM AND POSTERS
The scientific program will be posted here in due time.
The size of the poster should not exceed the Format A0, portrait (840x1190 cm). Fixing material will be provided.
A number will be assigned to your poster on the final program. Please use this number to find your poster wall.
Posters should be exposed from Sunday evening (arrival) to the end of the Meeting on Tuesday.
There is a poster award for the best 3 posters.
The winners will be announced at the closure of the meeting.
The meeting location is in Magglingen, Swiss Olympic House. Travel costs are covered by participants.
By train
If you travel by train, you need to travel to Biel first. From Biel there are two possible connections:
1.
Bus Nr. 11 in front of the railway station (every 30 min, travel time 3 min) or 10-min walk (marked path) from Biel train station to Biel/Bienne Magglingenbahn. Then funicular 22 to Magglingen/Macolin, starts every 15 min, travel time 6 min. From the funicular top station, signs will direct you to the meeting reception.
2.
Funicular to Leubringen from the old city centre, then gratis bus to Magglingen (not on Sundays).

By car
If you arrive by car, the address is Magglingen, Hauptstrasse 232
Parking lots in P1, P3 and P4 are available for 16 CHF/day. Please pay at the registration desk. Parking lots in P5 and P6 cost 10 CHF/day, please pay at the vending machine.

Accomodation costs and all meals are covered by the Foundation. We wish all participants to stay for the entire duration of the meeting. However, if you are unable to do this, please indicate this in the registration form. Single and double, modern rooms are reserved for participants at the Swiss Olympic House.
If possible, please agree to share a double room. This will help the Foundation to contain costs. If you have already a room-mate, you can indicate in the registration form the name of the person who will share the room with you. Please note that rooms cancelled after November 2nd or not-cheked in will be charged to the participant.
REGISTRATION
Please register on these pages adding the abstract of your contribution (talk or poster). PIs who delegate talks and posters to their group members will be asked to chair sessions or to evaluate posters for the final prize. Young researchers eligible for not presenting posters will be asked to help with microphones at the Q&A sessions.
Registration closes on August 31st. Abstracts can be submitted per E-mail after registration, but not later than August 31st.
